About
Michael V. Miller, Esq. has been serving the South Florida community for over 15 years as a litigator in both employment law and complex commercial litigation. He is a key member of our team at USA Employment Lawyers who works diligently to provide clients with the very best representation possible. Michael works closely with clients with the understanding that no employer should benefit from their employee’s labor without providing fair and just compensation. His strong convictions mean he will go “all-in” for his clients to fight for the money they have earned and deserve.
Michael’s extensive experience in complex litigation has yielded him a proven record of success in both federal and state courts. His prior experience representing businesses and employers provides unique insights into defense lawyer strategies. This ability to anticipate moves from opponents allows Michael to find effective, creative solutions for resolving difficult cases and maximizing his clients’ recovery.
Prior to joining USA Employment Lawyers, Michael worked in boutique law firms representing businesses in wage and hour, discrimination, whistleblower, trade secrets, and breach of employment contract claims. He has represented plaintiffs and defendants in hundreds of cases and his knowledge of the interplay between the legal and business aspects of litigation assists him in expeditiously achieving his clients’ objectives. From consultation through trial, Michael provides effective, proactive, and collaborative counsel and representation to employees in a variety of industries.
An avid reader who enjoys learning, Michael received his Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature from the University of Central Florida in Orlando. He then went on to earn his Juris Doctorate from Nova Southeastern University’s Shepard Broad College of Law in Davie, Florida. He is licensed to practice in Florida, New York and New Jersey.
